•  The ideal classroom management is one where everyone works and learns together
•  Teachers need to have a classroom management system that works for them.
•  Really hard to do: a student may act fine one day; listen and participate and be horrible the next day
•  It should be a balance between the needs of the adolescent and the demands of the school’s curriculum
